As part of these remediations, Casper crews removed asbestos flooring, roofing and pipe insulation. Asbestos-contaminated soil was also removed from crawl spaces beneath buildings. When these buildings were built, lead paint was commonly used on interior and exterior surfaces. To conform to current health standards, Casper took on the task of removing plaster and stucco as well as lead paint on doors, windows and fascia down to a paintable surface.
